The Miranda Templeton brand is a partnership between accessories designer Melanie Metcalfe and bridal agent Tony Bromilow. Melanie originally trained as a textile designer, moving into accessories design in 2001, this led naturally into the bridal industry where she met Tony. Several years later Tony was looking for an innovative, high quality bridal accessories brand to complete his portfolio. Frustrated by the generic and often mass produced bridal accessory designs on the market, he approached Melanie with the idea of working together and after a single meeting the collaboration was formed and Miranda Templeton was born.
The first collection, Fitzgerald was launched in 2011 and word spread quickly throughout the bridal and wedding design industry, leading to steady growth in popularity. Each and every design, be it a bridal tiara, bridal hair vine or item of wedding jewellery, is crafted with meticulous attention to detail by our small team of highly skilled staff at our studios in Bolton, Lancashire. This allows us to maintain control over quality and lead times, enabling rush orders to be completed whenever necessary.
Great emphasis is also placed upon sourcing high quality materials. Many of the items available in our bridal hair accessories range are created using Keshi and freshwater pearl, Preciosa crystal, Swarovski diamante and Austrian crystal; all of which are highly sought after and widely used throughout the industry. For the bride with quirkier tastes many of our beautiful bridal bands, bridal vines and bridal combs incorporate handmade porcelain flowers, delicate mesh leaves, woven beadwork leaves and frosted Lucite flowers.
